Oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. (state inspection was no charge because vehicle was purchased at dealership) All done quickly with no issues!

We showed up 30 minutes before closing walking around the lot. Tamon approached us and was able to accommodate my requests to quickly see several vehicles. Tamon was very friendly and answered all of our questions. (We did leave on time before closing!) The next day, after running the numbers using military discount and first responder discount on their new cars only policy, we decided to go a different route on a vehicle on site. The team at Tappahannock Chevrolet made it happen and were very professional. I drove away "with the vehicle of my dreams" before the end of the next day! Thanks, everyone!

the 1 seatbelt was fixed, but once we got home and put our grandchildren in the car another seatbelt hook was not fed through, meaning we are unable to buckle the seatbelt. we traveled over 40 miles - 1 way to get the seatbelt fixed. In which I thought was for no cost. That was not true, I was charged $100.00 (deductible). Brain wants me to travel back and he will fix it. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Someone needs to come to me and fix this issue.

My wife and I needed a bigger car for our family and decided to go there and see what would be available. The salesman named Greg was awesome! He was very charismatic and professional and had a very strong sense of integrity about him that made us feel even more comfortable about buying a vehicle there. The car is great and we love it. We have always been a Ford family but after this experience with Tappahannock Chevrolet I think we will become a Chevy family and do all our auto purchases there.

I had an appointment for problem with Infotainment Center on November 17th. When I went to the dealership, I had my battery replaced at my request. It did not seem that any diagnosis was done on the original problem. I was told to bring it back on the 20th and then it was diagnosed with a bad powerhead. The service manager was very polite and even offered a loaner car if my vehicle had to stay all day. That is commendable. I just feel like that could have been accomplished on the first visit. I have to go back again for the powerhead replacement because they did not have one in stock. I live one hour's drive from the dealership. I have all my maintenance done there and am always very satisfied.

Major problem with the transmission flush preformed by the service department on Friday December 19th, on a 2019 GMC Canyon. In less then 50 miles the vehicle started emitting a burnt oil smell, then noticed an oily residue on the tailgate & hitch, lastly looked under the truck to see half of the undercarriage coated in a dark red oily film. Truck seems to be shift harder than before. I'm afraid to drive the vehicle, not sure how much damage there is to the transmission. FYI: Looked at a few GM TSBs to find their is a significant problem with these GM transmissions, even a class-action law suits, not good.

Through out the just under 80,000 miles on my vehicle I have used Tappahannock Chevrolet all except 3 times when I was out of town and used Chevrolet dealers there. Tappahannock Chevrolet continues to be my favorite service department and I highly recommend them.

Easy to choose an appointment time, and I feel like the Service Department gets me in and out quickly! I am kept informed about any changes or updates needed, and never feel like I am pressured to buy a service I may not require t the time. I have been bringing my 2021 Traverse to Tappahannock Chevrolet since I purchased it there, and it has definitely been one of the best automobiles I’ve ever owned!

Always good to work with

Everyone is very friendly but I did had an issue with my vehicle that wasn’t fixed when I was told it was. I feel like attention wasn’t given to it because it was brought in later in the day and everyone wanted to go home.

I had a wonderful experience with Greg Higgins and Debbie Jenkins. I was apprehensive about trading out of my 2010 Equinox, and the new one seemed overwhelming with the technology. Greg went over my new car patiently with me and has been responsive when I've called with more questions. I haven't had a chance to drive it much, but I do love my new Equinox!
